He received his B.A. in Accounting in 1979 from Rutgers University and later earned an M.B.A. degree specializing in Finance. Molfetta Construction was founded by Michael's father, Corrado Nirchio, in 1973 as a masonry and concrete contractor. Michael assumed the role as president in 1994 and successfully completed numerous projects. Michael expanded his business by opening a general contracting company, Molfetta Corp. in 2000. In his latest effort to broaden his business Michael founded Molfetta Development Group in 2005 as a real estate development company.
